Come ye spinners, knitters, hookers and flingers of fiber whatever make or manner we welcome you all!  Join us at the comfortable and cozy Guest House in beautiful Lost River, WV in March for our 1st annual Fiber Flingers Retreat!  We had a trial run back in November 2009 and everyone agreed we should do it for the whole week-end!   Please click on the above link to see pictures of the facilities and to book your reservations.  You must tell them you are with the Fiber Retreat to get your special rate of $250 pp. for the week-end which includes, taxes, dinner on Friday evening.  Breakfast and dinner on Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning.

 Limited to 20 guests!

We're looking for the week-end to run something like this.  Come back Friday for your check-in and room assignment.   Unpack and come back to the lodge for a relaxing afternoon of spinning, knitting or your chosen vice.  There are many comfortable enclaves from which to choose and if the weather permits, fireplaces will be going!

We'll gather the group in the bar area for anyone who would like to enjoy an adult beverage before dinner and then proceed to dinner.

After dinner, back to our fiber pursuits.  

Saturday Morning:  Coffee and tea bar is open in the dining room.  Breakfast is served family style at 9 a.m.  All day to dabble in fiber.  Dinner in the evening. Back to fibering.

Sunday:  Same as Saturday but with a leisurely check-out to give us time to continue relaxing before we head for home.

All rooms have private baths.  Red Bud Cottage has 3 rooms with a small kitchenette and a living room with fireplace.  Carriage House has 4 individual guest rooms with private baths.  Biltmore Cottage has room for 3 with private baths.  Gather your friends and book an entire cottage! 

I'll be vending with my lovely handpainted fibers and yarn at least 1 day but more than likely both days. 

Massages are available by Tammy so speak to her about pricing and scheduling if you'd like one.  Times are limited.
